Complete Storyline The 13th King of Hardland decides to initiate a revolution in the Kingdom. He "decides" to initiate a revolution to embrace industrial things and turns upon magical arts and the worship of nature. In response to this, however, many of the nobility turns to the dark arts. Hidden from prying eyes clandestine meetings of secret societies dedicated to the occult hold Black Sabbaths. Hardland's government had become concentrated in Kamazene, the capital, causing most of the aristocracy to return there. Three years prior Georik and Lillith left Kamazene and went to live in their mansion in Geuntrik due to Lillith's asthma. Georik had previously been working as a doctor of the royal family. Nine years before Georik and LIllith's parents (Count Wolfgang and Countess Elaine) mysteriously died. LIllith had only been four and Georik seventeen (making Lillith 13 in the present and Georik 26). Lillith had been home alone when their parents had died. Countess Elain had collapsed after returning from a banquet and their father had been found dead in a back alley in the slums. Nine years ago Georik defeated Michael for the trophy in the fencing competition. It is 1801. Hardland is having its 315 anniversery. Georik Zaberisk is serving as a doctor to the village of Geuntrink, a small village deep in Hardland. A bandit is harassing a local villager for food and Georik shows up to stop him. He promises the boy he will return to see his wife deliver his baby. Georik returns home where Lillith teases him. Lillith notices blood on his sword and berates him. Lillith mentions that their parents had been murdered but the conversation quickly turns. Georik mentions that he has recieved a letter ordering him back to Kamazene to resume his duty as a doctor. Lillith urges him to let her come too and he agrees that she can come with him when he returns from his two day trip to Kamazene to finalize the details. Back in Kamazene St. Germant informs Michael that Georik has been called back.
